The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC) is premier organisation in the state of Andhra Pradesh, vested with the objective of providing industrial infrastructure through the development of Industrial Parks (IP). The corporation has so far developed over 300 Industrial Parks spreading over an extent of about 85,00,00 acres. Besides, APIIC is also developing sector focussed parks like biotech park/IT Park/apparel park/food processing parks/leather parks in the state.
With the advent of economic liberalization, APIIC has reoriented itself to the changing needs of economy and assumed the role of infrastructure facilitator. To its credit, APIIC has developed HITEC City with a L&T, Mind Space IT park with Rheaja Group Covention & Golf course with Emaar Dubai and other infrastructure projects like Fabcity, Business towers, Hardware Park and Biotech Park etc.
APIIC has secured developer status for 19 SEZ in the state and also assisted various developers in securing SEZ notification.
APIIC has mandate to bring all the existing industrial parks under the green concept by initiating suitable measure and interventions like setting up of EMCs at park/zone level, establishment of CETPs, greenry and bringing in Green building Concepts.
