In keeping with the trend worldwide and give due considerations to the growing environmental concerns, APIIC is keen to achieve sustainable development of industries giving due considerations to environment protection.

To commemorate the 34th Formation Day of APIIC, in 2006, the Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced creation of an Environment Management Fund (EMF) with an initial outlay of Rs. 50 crores with an aim to address and subsequently implement Modern Environmental Management Systems in Industrial Parks.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided upon its vision and objectives to transform the existing industrial parks into Eco Industrial Parks (EIP) and to ensure adoption of sustainable model(s) for Industrial Growth in the State.
